Born 1965 in Moline, Illinois. Raised in Rock Island, Illinois. Graduated from Rock Island High School in 1983. Attended Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) from 1984 to 1988. Graduated with a B.A. in Political Science.

Attended University of Missouri - Kansas City from 1988 to 1991. Admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1991 and the Illinois Bar in 1992. Member of the Missouri Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association.

Served as Adair County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney from 1992 to 1993. Then became Adair County, Missouri’s first full time prosecuting attorney in 2003 until 2010.

In addition to being Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and Prosecuting Attorney, was a partner in Trosen & Williams, P.C. and an associate with The Benson Law Firm, LLC. Currently a partner in McClamroch & Williams, LLC since January 2016.
